Leadership and Management

There are different definitions for leadership and management. They crossed lines in many aspects. However, through my experience in management, I would define the leadership and management as following “Visualizing the vision and recognizing the limitations, both your own and those of others, and empower them to explore their potentials, acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to overcome any challenges they face, and achieve the group goals away from any personal gains”.
Notice, I connected management with leadership because it needs both to be successful on transforming vision into reality.
Let us break the above definitions into key words:
1. Visualizing the vision.
2. Recognizing the limitations.
3. Individuals and followers.
4. Empowerment and teaching.
5. Knowledge and skills.
6. Persistence and determination.
7. Challenges conditions.
8. Morality and ethics.
9. Self-sacrificing and teamwork.
Any successful leadership and management would succeed when it have all and I confirm (all) the aspects. For example, the challenges approved of being the main stone of all discoveries and success stories. Similarly, self-sacrificing by individuals by going outside their comfort zones, made successful nations, and made successful individuals and companies. Without them, any leadership and management are doomed to fail.
